Windsor man accused of murdering man, strangling child formally charged with 19 counts
GREELEY – A man who is accused of murdering man and straggling a female child at a Windsor home last week was formally charged Wednesday with 19 counts, including first-degree murder.
Trevor George, 32, has been charged with the following: one count of first-degree murder after deliberation; one count of felony first-degree murder; one count of criminal attempt to commit fist-degree murder; one count of crime of violence; one count of first-degree assault; one count of child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury; one count of aggravated robbery; one count of first-degree burglary; one count of second-degree burglary; one count of criminal attempt to commit robbery; two counts of first-degree aggravated motor vehicle theft; four counts of menacing; one count of possession of a weapon by a previous offender; one count of theft; one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
On Oct. 30, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to a shooting along the 7900 block of Weld 62 (Crossroads Boulevard), just west of Weld County Road 17 near Windsor. At the scene, deputies found one person who had been shot and killed. The person’s identity has not been released.
