A former female vicar who was celibate for six years has embarked on a lucrative new career as an OnlyFans model.

Nikole Mitchell grew up in a baptist family in Ohio, and once she got to university she became even more religious.

"I basically started dating Jesus," the 36-year-old mum told Fabulous.

"I stopped dating men entirely. While I had slept with guys in high school, it was terrible, teenage sex where we didn't know what we were doing, I decided to stop seeing anyone during my time at university."

Between 2001 and 2007 Nikole didn't even share a kiss with a man and turned down several marriage proposals, saying "Jesus was my boyfriend".

"I didn't want to date anyone as I was afraid of having sex because I had been taught it was wrong outside of marriage and didn't want to detract from my time with God so I would make excuses such as "I am not dating this season" or "I have plans,'" she said.

After graduation she entered the seminary. In 2009 she met and married her former husband John, and the couple went on to have three children.

After joining a local evangelical church she was asked to become a pastor and spent three years learning how to give sermons.

"I loved it," she said. "I felt like I had found my calling."

But over time Nikole began to feel disillusioned with the church after mentions of her biracial heritage were edited out of her sermons. She realised she was bisexual, but the church didn't want any mention of that either.

"I'd suppressed my dating urges for so long I didn't know I was queer, but I was. I was a queer woman who wanted orgasms and good sex and it was only as I got older I realised that."

In 2017 she left the church and "never looked back". She was 33 and a free woman, and for the first time wanted to start embracing her sexuality rather than suppressing it.

"I always thought women couldn't ask for sex or ask to be pleasured," she said.

"So, no longer a pastor, I booked a boudoir shoot. I felt so sexy lying there having my picture taken. It was wonderful.

"Afterwards the photographer asked if I wanted the pictures made into a book. I didn't need asking twice."

Nikole started looking into how she could make money from posing nude, and in 2019 finally set up an OnlyFans account where users pay for exclusive erotic content.

Incredibly she's now raking in up to $100,000 (£76,000) a month, and absolutely loves her new career, which sees her pose for sexy pictures and strip for videos.

"I honestly think I was born to take my clothes off… it feels like a calling," she said.

"I love it so much."

She and John divorced amicably this year and she says he's happy for her, although some of her friends aren't so pleased.

"It's very polarising," she said. "Some people are like 'you go girl' whereas others are very critical.

"Still, I'm making huge amounts of cash and doing what I love. And I still believe in God."
