‘Horrendous’ lorry crash kills three young kids and woman from same family

Three children and a woman from the same family have died after their car crashed into a lorry.

The silver Subaru collided with the heavy-goods vehicle on the A40 close to Oxford around 9.50pm last night, October 12.

A four-year-old girl, an eight-year-old girl and a six-year-old boy and one adult, a 29-year-old woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other passengers in the Subaru, a 30-year-old man and an 18-month-old girl,were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

They remain in a critical condition.

The HGV driver, a 56-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.
