Heartwarming moment cat and dog comfort each other while home alone

The adorable relationship between a cat and a dog has been caught on camera, with viewers swooning at what was recorded.

Joule, a Vizsla, and ginger moggy Kelvin have struck up quite the bond over the years.

They have become internet sensations thanks to their dedicated Instagram account @ginger_cat_and_vizsla, with Daily Star Online previously revealing how they have an impossibly cute daily routine while home alone.

Another clip has now emerged of the pair having a good old fashioned snuggle on the bed.

It begins with Kelvin burying his head into the pooch as a sign of affection. He then turns around and repeats the act.

Joule seems more than happy to snuggle up as well and lets her feline friend brush against her.

The video has been seen more than 12,000 times since it was posted last week and it wasn’t long before viewers flooded the comments section.

“Love watching them together so sweet,” one wrote. “So loveable.”

Another commented: “He’s so cute. I hope his love is appreciated.”

A third added: “I have to watch this over and over. If people could get along this well.”

The pets’ owner – who has chosen to remain anonymous – previously told this site that Kelvin really helps with Joule’s anxiety when the pair are home alone.

“Kelvin has always been friendly with the dogs, but I never realised the extent of it until I got the cameras,” she said.

“I’m not sure why they are such good friends. It makes me happy that they keep each other company when we are not home.”

Another video emerged earlier this year showing Joule waking up her best pal in a rather unconventional way.
