Fort Collins police are searching for stabbing suspect
Police in Fort Collins are looking for a man who is suspected of stabbing a woman.
The stabbing happened at about 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Tiger Cat Way, according to a news release.
The woman who was stabbed knew the assailant, who is identified as 25-year-old Johnathan Crossley, according to police.
Crossley fled the scene before police arrived, the release said. The victim, who suffered serious injury, was taken to a local hospital.
Investigators found Crossley’s abandoned vehicle in Lory State Park.
The suspect is described as a white man, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 140 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair and green eyes. He may wear glasses.
Anyone with information on Crossley’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
